lexi does not like the doors, riders on the storm. she really thinks she hears lightning/thunder. these things seem have a subsonic rumble. enough to fool her. i tried them with a sub and it really doesn't add much. it did yesterday. but maybe since the speakers sat around for so long they needed to loosen up. i really need test them to see what i have. but by ear, i might stay with the port the way it is. i had the tubes in, but tried pulling them out for the hell of it, and it seemed to drop the low end a bit. don't know but they did pass the pink floyd "welcome to the machine" test.

    Nice !

Lots of nice A7 / A5s, now coming out of the woodwork .

Funny how some dogs react/cringe to the appearance of thunder storms while others are like , "meh" .

this one destroys stuff. doors carpets tables cardboard boxes.

so i added the grills today. i still need to cut the foam that goes around the 511s. i just jammed the other pieces of foam in to cut down the ringing. i noticed it yesterday. when a song did a fast break.

Looks great - you've got a lot to be proud of there. What is your source, amp equipment?

Great job--those are real beauties! I wish I had the woodworking skills to build a pair of cabs like that.....
